I had a business and was leasing from gulf gas station, Petroleum wholesales Inc. It’s been almost 3 years. It was a sublease from Indians. I didn’t know Lanlord had put a clause saying anytime he can buy my inventory and i had to leave. I already hired a lawyer spent 8800 and no favorable outcome. So hired another Desi lawyer who want to backout, dunno why but he saying he had too many old cases to be solved and is very busy. I haven’t even got my investment back let alone profit and other stuff like if i was able to sell the store, i could have easily sold at 175-200k. Its a huge loss for me.

It wasn’t very clear. However, as I understood that u sub leased the store from some Indian who actually was leasing from Gulf. If this is the case then, u r doomed. Actually, the branded gas company never let sublease. U should have read the original lease contract between the gas company and that Indian. Now, all u can do is either sue that Indian or get agreement with Gulf directly to renew your contract. U must have received some incentives from Gulf selling their gas. Now, tell them u will work with them without incentive for year. They eventually have to lease the store to someone at some point anyway.
Actually, Gulf can sue that Indian for violating their lease contract by subleasing. Talk to Gulf directly, they might help you.

Sorry i mean to say lease transferred. The gulf sold the property that’s why they kicked me out.
