I am on OPT (stem extension) expiring soon. And I hope that some people in a similar boat have already applied for TPS.

While filing i765 for TPS, I guess that in "I am applying for" section I should select "Permission to accept employment" since this is going to be the first time EAD under TPS. Is this correct assumption?

But I am not sure what to fill in section 11 "Have you ever before applied..." part. Should I enter my information regarding both my previous OPT EADs?

If you are applying foe EAD and want EAD then you should select "Permission to accept employment".

Yes you have applied for EAD before and put the info of the latest EAD.

i am approved for h1b and will start from oct 1.My current opt will end on sept.
My que is...if i apply tps it will cause issue on Coming h1b .

Also , i am planning to maintain my h1b and tps and tps ead i just want to hole for backup.

If your H1B is approved and effective from Oct, then why do you need to apply for TPS? Its July and you have just 2 more months to receive your H1B. I do not see any need for TPS at this moments. You can work under H1B until its validity.

If you apply for TPS (I do not know why? ) but you spend $ 515.00 for TPS with EAD and you get EAD after H1B. So what's the point ? Its useless.

As i am planning to visit Nepal for stamping with Advance parole. So i dont have to worry if my stamping got rejected , i can come back to us with tps.
