NO ONE PICKS UP THE PHONE @Embassy of Nepal in WASHINGTON, D.C. --- IS THIS NORMAL ?

Yes it is Nepali embassy. And Nepali officials not doing their job is very normal.

i have been to the embassy in DC for few legal things. i don't blame them for not answering the calls. they are ill equipped and understaffed. i have seen them work insanely hard during my brief visit. the calls keep pouring in and there's no way they can answer all the calls all the time. i got good email responses too. so i am going out on a limb and say 'let's talk about the government's inability to provide necessary equipment and adequate staff'. two more phone lines and few more personnel would solve that problem quite a bit.

I wonder how the other embassies in other countries are then if the one in the US has such a character.

They are horrible, no one pick up phone or answer email. It's one thing to be not able to answer every call but not be able to answer even after calling for weeks and no reply to emails too? That's simply incompetence to me.

कामनदिने मान्छेहरु काम गर्छन , I think they show up once a month in the building to sign and collect the paycheck. Rest of time they do a full time job outside. Stupid !! Hamro Desh ma ta tesai garey yaha pani testai... so sad ..
