Friends,

I am going to Nepal this May to get married. Just want to know if someone here has been through similar situation like mine.

I have following options  :

1) Get myself interviewed before marriage as I will not have any marraige certificate before marriage. (My wedding date is one week later than the date I will be in Nepal). let my wife do her interview only after marriage

2) Get married, have marriage certificates and get interviewed together. For this I will have to wait for a Week and I will have 1.5 weeks after the interview date. I dont know if this much time frame is enough to get everything done.

3) Have marriage certificates via court or ward and get interviewed together. In this case I will not have any pictures in case counselor asked for.

Which one is the best option? Please Suggest.

It's better if you apply for interview after getting married (our traditional marriage is better than court one). Even if your wife applies after u got h1 visa you will be waiting for ur wife interview date before coming back to US. Hence the couselors gives + point if you two go together for h1 visa compared to if ur wife goes later.
