Looks like a scam to me. This has happened to several people before. You will deposit  the money in your account. The bank will honor your check. And after keeping your commission, the remaining money you will send to the concerned individual. And after few days, the bank will notify you that your check was fraud and you have to pay back the whole amount.

Well If it is real, congratuation...

You really dont worry about tax. U can just deposit that chek in ur account and cut taxes in ur SSN. There are hundreds of thousands international student who are working in check. People really do not have time to go after those students.

Or just to be in safe side, consultant idea is right. Pay the taxes in some other name and keep rest of the money in ur account. U should not be in trouble..

And let me know if that company needs one more consultant....?
