last time I checked decent and cheapest hotels in NYC were starting from $50/day, which was Motel 6.

im not us resident so i dont have a car in new york. i want the room near to manhattan and public transport convenient basically subway. i found one in buffallo, can u tell me how far its from manhattan area? can u tell me the name the other motels in new york area.

 

 

hahaha  Buffalo is a 7-8 hours drive from NYC...Could be longer as that area is in the Canadian border (so it snows a lot there).  Look up hotels.com for a general idea of the rates in NYC.  Also, look up craigslist.org and look for room shares if planning to stay a lil longer.  I'd suggest you stick to West Queens (Astoria, LIC, Sunnyside/Woodside, Jackson Heights) and the extreme west side of Brooklyn (Williamsburg) if looking for safety and affordability with a close proximity to the city.

buffalo is too far, you can check panamhotel.com, they offers cheap price.

during my last trip to NYC, i stayed in Jamaica. they have some pretty cheap motels. do some googling. i had done the same.
