This is a very sensitive and important issue. What is the general opinion on this? The reason I am starting this topic is to gather more voice on this important issue for Nepalis residing overseas. This is an agenda that NRNs should push for, as this is a very achievable and desirable demand.

It's quite simple. Nepalese outside Nepal want dual citizenship for various reasons, travel, property, still be Nepalese etc... Any Nepali who has to give up Nepalese citizenship feels sad/bad regardless of whatever the reason is. But opposition is mostly due to aarishe baani of Nepalese. They think the ones with foreign money will have more advantage over everything.
