a year or two ago if read a short story written by a nepali in which the protagonist is a young girl who remembers a stone that her grandmother had given(?) her or something. it was a nice story. now i am haunted by it and i cannot find it. i am pretty sure the writer was female and i think it was posted on some literary magazine with harvard on it.

if anyone know about what i am talking about, post the link or any information would be helpful quelling my inane curiosity.

yes man i need to push this thread up :) ...i have been googling my asz for the last 3-4 days as if i was possessed but still no luck finding the grandmother or the stone.
