Friends, colleges are charging exorbitant prices for student health insurance. For example, the yearly health insurance for Univ. @ Buffalo (NY) is almost $2300. On top of that, they have the following condition:
1. Even if the college is closed for COVID reason they do not refund a single penny.
2. Unlike semester fees which you can pay in installments, health insurance fees must be paid fully in advance for the whole year.
It appears that the insurance companies are just trying to take profit from helpless students.
Just wondering if friends like you know about any cheaper solution? Will be highly appreciated.
