It might be painful for those whose TPS is still pending and those might be worrying what if TPS does not extend after DEC 2016 dead line. What do you think about TPS extension ? If it extend, it will be a great relief for those who are trying to change status to some other status and with EAD, they can legally able to work. Since its already March, just 9 months left before it gets expired, is there any PLAN B if TPS does not extend ? What are the alternatives? Lets share and request our immigration lawyers who visit this forum to share their valuable suggestions too. Lets not make any nasty and irrelevant discussions for the benefits of sharing right information.

Hey, your statement '...will also renew F1 visa because that expired almost 2 years ago' raised my eyebrow. What do you mean by F1 Visa expired 2 years ago ? Did he maintain F1 status with SEVIS and received new I-20 from University ? Make sure you have all those documents handy while applying for F1 visa renewal. I am sure your case is not complicated if F1 status is maintained intact.

expired meaning the F-1 visa stamp/sticker on the passport expired in 2014, but F-1 status has been maintained, never been out of status, just need a new visa sticker to enter back to US
