I recently got US citizenship. Do I need to renounce my Nepali citizenship? Is it mandatory or optional? If mandatory, what is the process. Appreciate helpful comments.

No need to do anything. Your Nepali citizenship automatically got terminated the day you took US citizenship.

Thank you for the helpful comments. Do I need to officially surrender the citizenship and passport in the Nepali Embassy in US? I saw some relinquishment form in the embassy's website. Or is it ok if I just keep the Nepali passport but never use it.
